Poster Contest Exhibition
İzmir Foundation of
Culture, Arts and Education has been selecting
the Izmir European Jazz Festival poster among
the works of the young graphic artists for eigh
years. Inside the education activities of Izmir
European Jazz Festival which is one of the few
festivals of the world in a special area as
European Jazz, the poster contest holds a
significant place. The young artists who have
received a place in ranking and whose works were
seen worthwhile of being exhibited in the
contest to which hundreds of posters have joined
until today, have found the opportunity to show
and prove themselves by this way.
The 8th Jazz Poster contest was made for
determination of the poster of the 17th Izmir
European Jazz Festival. 135 posters from all
over Turkey participated in the contest. The
Selection Committee found the work of Sinan
Kapçak worthy of the first prize. And also
selected 23 posters to be exhibited. The works
of the 8th Jazz Poster Contest will be viewable
until March 15th.
