ARTUR DUTKIEWICZ

The 27th Izmir European Jazz Festival will host an extraordinary jazz pianist at AASSM Small Hall on Monday, March 16, 2020; at 8 pm. Pianist and composer Artur Dutkiewicz will present a special repertoire in the concert, which will be held in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Istanbul and the Honorary Consulate of Izmir. In December 2012 issue of Jazz Forum magazine, described the pianist as "the ambassador of Polish jazz", "one of the most influential Polish jazz musicians abroad". Pianist's latest albums with their own compositions: "Mazurki"/solo/,  "Prana”, "Traveller”/trio/, it was perfectly welcomed by both viewers and critics. Combining modern jazz improvisation with Polish folk music elements in its compositions, Dutkiewicz has a worldwide reputation.
